Paramus Resident Joins Financial Services Firm to Develop New Markets, Build Awareness of Next Generation’s Administrative and Custodial Services for Self-Directed Retirement Plans
ROSELAND, N.J. (PRWEB)March 19, 2018
Next Generation Services in Roseland, N.J., an administrator of self-directed retirement plans, announced that Bryan Sullivan has joined the staff as business development representative. Sullivan will help the financial services firm enhance its outreach to prospective account holders, and work closely with Next Generation’s account management and operations teams to ensure that investors meet the requirements for opening a self-directed retirement plan. He will report to Brittany Pickell, Next Generation’s director of marketing and sales.
A self-directed retirement plan allows individuals to invest in alternative assets such as real estate, precious metals, notes, hedge funds, limited partnerships and private equity. Next Generation Services offers education about these plans to consumers as well as real estate and financial professionals. The company also provides comprehensive account administration and transaction support, with Next Generation Trust Company acting as custodian for all accounts.
Sullivan, who has an MBA in marketing and finance from New Jersey City University, has held several marketing positions at a variety of northern New Jersey businesses, including Falcon and Singer P.C., a disability rights law firm and Akadema, a manufacturer of baseball gloves. He has represented a diverse range of products and services, with experience in strategy and planning, budgeting, product development and e-marketing. He is also a strong public speaker.
“Next Generation has experienced continued growth and evolution through the years,” said Pickell. “Having Bryan on board, with his great skill set, enables us to extend our outreach to more investors who are interested in making their own investment decisions, and who want to include a broader range of assets within their retirement plans.”
Although learning the ropes as business development rep at Next Generation Services represents a new challenge in a new field for him, Sullivan stated that, “The basics of marketing still apply: learn everything you can about your product or service, research and reach out to the appropriate audience, and create a compelling story that will resonate with that audience.”
Sullivan, who played baseball during his undergraduate years at Rutgers University and Ramapo College of New Jersey, has received several awards of distinction in sportsmanship, character and service, including The Maxwell J. Schleifer Distinguished Service Award from Exceptional Parent Magazine for his advocacy on behalf of the disabled community.
